The Labyrinth is about a love triangle among the dissidents of 1970 Soviet Odessa. Tamara is a straight-laced medical student who tries to mend her relationship with her fiancé’s brother by coming along on his trips to get banned books. Yet as time goes on, she finds both the world of underground literature and the brother increasingly alluring.
